Caption Description The Zero Emissions Race, co-sponsored by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), comes to a close as electric vehicles cruise through the finish line at the UN Office at Geneva, Switzerland. The ""zero emissions"" vehicles, powered by renewable energies like solar, wind, wave and geothermal, drove across the globe in 80 days, through 17 countries, for a total of 28,000 kilometres.
