Ambassador Hans Engen, Norway's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, signing, today at U.N. Headquarters, an Additional Protocol amending certain provisions of the Agreement providing for the provisional application of the draft International Customs Conventions on Touring, on Commercial Road Vehicles and on the International Transport of Goods by Roads. The International Conventions were adopted in Geneva on 16 June 1949. The Additional Protocol, adopted in Geneva on 28 November 1952, will enter into force when all governments which have accepted the draft International Customs Conventions have signed the Protocol without any reservation as to ratification, or shall have ratified it if they have signed subject to ratification. Signatories without reservation now number six; two signed subjects to ratification.
