Caption Description
The International Frequency Registration Board (IFRB) is a permanent organ of the International Telecommunication Union, a United Nations Specialized Agency. The 11 independent members of IFRB are all nationals of different countries and experts in the field of radio. The IFRB records the frequency assignments made by various countries and provides Members and Associate Members of ITU with advice with a view to the operation of as many radio channels as possible in those parts of the spectrum where harmful interference may arise.
Here, Mr. Theodore Wettestein (Switzerland), Head of the Frequency Records Dept., with his secretary, Miss A. Javet. [No exact date]
