Caption Description
The Korean Children's Choir which is in the U.S. on a concert tour as part of a $10,000,000 fund drive for the rehabilitation of Korea, today visited United Nations Headquarters. The choral group is composed of twenty-two girls and three boys, ranging in age from 7 to 13 years. The group visited Headquarters as guests of the United States Committee for the U.N. Children's Fund (UNICEF) and sang greetings in Korean for the Committee which was reconstituted as an independent non-governmental organization on 21 April 1953.
This photograph shows the group in one of the lobbies at Headquarters. Standing behind the group is Ambassador Ben C. Limb, Permanent Observer of Korea to the United Nations.
