Headline Educational Film Centre in Mexico 
Caption Description One of the major concerns of the Government of Mexico is to encourage the spread of education. As part of its programmes, an educational film institute (ILCE) was created in 1956 with the active participation of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The institute produces films for schools and fundamental education programmes in Latin America.

Dolls are used extensively in certain film sequences. Mireya Cueto, of Mexico, arranges some dolls for Chief photographer Hans Ritter, of Germany, and Haitian student Edouard C. Paul, in the studio.
