MINUSTAH Rehabilitation Works and CIMIC Activities
Caption Description
Members of the Chilean and Brazilian contingent of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) conduct rehabilitation works and CIMIC (Civil-Military Cooperation) activities in Haiti.
Many corners of Port-au-Prince are covered with mountains of garbage. Haitians work in the local garbage dump collecting recyclable materials on the road that is muddy and garbage strewn during the rainy season and dusty and garbage strewn during the dry season. The construction of the new road is one of the CIMIC projects.
