The “Chalyvourghiki” Steel Company 
Caption Description The Chalyvourghiki Steel Company was established in 1948.  Last year it produced 35,000 tons of steel round bars, 2,500 tons of cast iron pressure pipes, and 5,000 tons of wire rods and nail wires, all of the highest quality.  About 500 persons work for the Company.  The factory is located at Eleusis, near Athens.
