Caption Description "A housewife in Ugala cooking a meal on a biogas stove.  Biogas or gobar plant comprises a digester of adequate size to ferment cowdung, urine, night soil and any other finely chopped left-over fodder.  These plants are available in different sizes ranging from 60 cubic feet to 5,000 cu. capacity.  With help from the UN Development Programme, the Government is aiming to establish about 100,000 biogas plants in its fifth Five-Year Plan.
