Headline UNVMC Clears Arms Caches 
Caption Description UN Verification Mission (UNVMC) has cleared a total of 750 out of 998 FARC-EP arms caches. The operations required a major logistical and operational effort involving a total of 283 flight hours of the 3 United Nations Mission helicopters, 210 helicopter flight hours provided by the Colombian Government and  approximately 40,000 kilometers travelled between vehicles, boats and horses. The operations were carried out with the support of members of the FARC-EP in coordination with the National Armed Forces who provided security and logistical support.
UN International Observers are counting and registering arms found in one of the arms caches of FARC-EP.
