Caption Description The UN Department of Safety and Security K-9 (Canine) Unit has eleven explosive detection dogs, trained at the same facility that trains the dogs of the New York State Police Canine Unit. The dogs, many of which came from animal shelters, live with their handlers for the duration  of their working lives.
Here, new canine recruits Larson, Onyx, and Ranger, as well as Unit veteran Titan, are put through obedience training.
