The Protocol to the Agreement on the Importation of Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Materials of 22 November 1950, concluded at Nairobi on 26 November 1976, was signed today at UN Headquarters on behalf of the Governments of the European Economic Community. The Agreement exempts books, newspapers, works of art, scientific equipment and a wide range of educational materials from import duties.
