Caption Description The United Nations Statistical Commission began its fifteenth session at United Nations Headquarters this morning. The session will extend until 8 March. The Commission elected Keith McTae Archer (Australia) as its Chairman; Jan Kazimour (Czechoslovakia) as Vice-Chairman; and Walter E. Duffett (Canada) as Rapporteur. The Commission this morning adopted its agenda and, after a statement by Philippe de Seynes, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, began discussion of the item concerning national accounts and balances.
