Caption Description The Security Council, continuing its consideration of the Namibia situation, heard statements this morning by the representatives of Canada, Bangladesh, Mexico and the Federal Republic of Germany, and by a representative of the African National Congress of South Africa (ANC).  In the seven meeting it has held so far on the item since 21 April the Council has heard 47 statements, including those by 19 Foreign Ministers and the Minister in the Presidency of Mozambique.
