Caption Description The twenty-seventh anniversary of the founding of the United Nations was marked this afternoon by the annual UN Day symphony concert in the General Assembly Hall. Participants included pianist Alicia de Larrocha; mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne; the Rutgers University Choir; and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra under conductor Henry Lewis. Works by Ravel, Brahms and Lutoslawski were performed, and the program was broadcast in its entirety over the Public Broadcasting System.
