Statements were made by the Prime Minister of Mauritius, the Foreign Ministers of Mongolia, Kuwait and Yemen, the Minister of Oil and Minerals of Iraq, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, the Secretary of State for Culture and Higher Studies of Somalia and the Permanent Representative of Guatemala to the United Nations.
