A contingent of peacekeepers from the Republic of Korea sets out in Léogâne, Haiti. Recently assigned to work with the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), the contingent consists of 240 engineers, 40 Marines and 30 medical staff, who as a whole will play a role in disaster control assessment and reconstruction efforts in one of the areas worst affected by the 12 January earthquake.
