Headline UNMISS Accompanies CTSAMM on Integrated Fact-finding Mission
Caption Description The United Nations Mission in South Sudan offered force protection to a team from the Ceasefire and Transitional Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM), who traveled from Juba to Kajo-Keji to assess the humanitarian situation and investigate reports of human rights violations that arose following conflict in the area.
The team visited internally displaced persons (IDPs) living 40 kilometers from town, who expressed need for more shelters, medical services, water, and food supplies.  In Kajo-Keji the team met with county officials, community and religious leaders, and interviewed residents, in joint pursuit to gauge the cause and effects of conflict on the community.
