Headline Netherlands Contributes $1.4 Million for UN Development Trust Fund 
Caption Description At a brief ceremony in the Secretary-General's office today, Th. H. Bot, Minister in Charge of Development Aid of the Netherlands Government, informed U Thant of his Government's decision to contribute $1,400,000 for establishing a United Nations Trust Fund. Of this contribution, an amount of $1,000,000 is to be allocated to the Centre for Development Planning, Projections and Policies of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs; and associated centres of the secretaries of the regional economic commission. The remainder, $400,000, is to be allocated, in equal amounts, to the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning; the Asian Institute for Economic Development Planning; the Latin American Institute for Economic and Social Planning; and the International Institute for Educational Planning.
