Headline Pakistan Establishes a College for Social Welfare
Caption Description The College of Social Welfare and Research Centre has been established in Pakistan with the help of United Nations technical assistance experts to train students at all levels of welfare education and to direct an extension programme. Graduates of the College of Social Welfare will eventually staff numerous social welfare schemes throughout the country. The College, which is an independent faculty, will eventually become part of the University of Dacca.

Lunch at the Day Care Centre in Mohhamedpur consists of rice and vegetables and is supervised by student Rushan Ara Begum. Miss Begum must complete 350 hours of practical training in the Centre.
