Caption Description The hospital ship ''Jutlandia"" (8,500 gross tons) one of Denmark's contributions to United Nations aid in Korea. It took the shipyards several months to turn the former transatlantic liner into a modern, floating hospital. The cargo holds were turned into hospital wards with a total capacity of 200 patients; with additional emergency berths, the ship can take up to 400 in-patients. Three main clinics were installed with two full operating theatres. There is also a dental clinic, X-ray laboratory, dispensaries, library, etc. The total medical and nursing staff is 100, and a crew of 100 keeps the ship going.
