Headline Yemen Signs Operation Plan for Locust Control 
Caption Description The Government of Yemen today signed the plan of operation for a United Nations Special Fund Project for control of the desert locust scourge. Nineteen countries are participating in the six-year, $3.8 million project which seeks to sharply reduce losses from locust damage in countries from Western Africa through the Arabian peninsula and the Middle East to Pakistan and India. The Food and Agriculture organization (FAO) is executing agency for the project.
