"Jutlandia" Welcomed on Return to Copenhagen
Caption Description
The Danish hospital-ship ""Jutlandia"", which has been on service in the Korean waters under the Unified Command, returned to Copenhagen on 8 June 1952, after an absence of 503 days, during which 2,918 patients of 20 nationalities were treated by her medical personnel and 406 wounded were transported back to Europe. On her return, the ""Jutiandia"" was greeted by thousands of people. The Danish Government is ready to send her to Korea again in August, unless the Panmunjom negotiations make her return unnecessary.
