Headline Regional Textbook Production Centre in Yaounde

Caption Description The Centre has a goal of publishing each year about 12 textbooks, as well as two educational periodicals for teachers and students and about 125,000 pamphlets and other teaching aids for schools and adult education. UNESCO is supporting the programme by supplying the experts and equipment; Canada is donating the paper. The UNESCO experts are also training local people in printing and textbook production. The Centre serves Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo (Brazzaville) and Gabon.
