Caption Description At the clinic operated by the Mary Knoll Sisters in Pusan, the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA) is helping thousands of patients through its contribution of equipment and supplies to enable the clinic to provide orthopedic treatment for children suffering from tuberculosis of the bone and poliomyelitis. A series of disastrous fires added to the distress of the hundreds of thousands of refugees in the City, and last year the clinic treated nearly 500,000 cases.  
A father explains to Sister August the nature of the illness of his young child whom he has brought to the clinic.
