Lt. General John B. Coulter, Agent-General of the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA), opening a pictorial exhibit showing the work of UNKRA, this afternoon in the lower delegate's area (first basement) of the General Assembly building at UN Headquarters. Standing behind him are (left to right): Benjamin Cohen, Assistant Secretary-General of the UN for Public Information; Dag Hammarskjod, UN Secretary-General; and Colonel Ben Limb, Korea's Permanent Observer to the United Nations. The exhibit, composed of seven panels of pictures taken in the field and a large project map, indicates the extent and scope of UNKRA programs in the field of educational rehabilitation and school building, irrigation, forestry conservation, re-equipment of factories, boat building and re-organization of the fishing industry, veteran rehabilitation, restoration of transportation and harbor facilities, re-housing and community development programs.
