Women's Welfare Group in Korea
Caption Description
A Korean Women's Welfare Group has been organized in Seoul, to assist in relief work in Korea. Among other activities, the group knits clothes for use by orphanages in Seoul. The wool and knitting needles used by the group were donated by the Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe (CARE).
This picture shows three members of the group with Mr. A. T. Nielson (right), of Denmark, a welfare worker with the United Nations Civil Assistance Command in Korea (UNCACK). At left is Mrs. Park, Head of the Korean Women's Welfare Group. In the background are some of the garments made by the group. [No exact date]
