This projection vividly illustrates each of the 17 Goals, aiming to increase awareness about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Olivia performs a spoken word poem during the event on the International Day of the Girl 2023 on the theme “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being”.

The event aims to unite adolescent girls with advocates for their rights, including UN leaders, NGOs, businesses, and governments. The event showcases a world where girls actively influence government policies, business practices, and research priorities. This vision needs global commitment and specific funding to become the standard.

Headline Internally Displaced South Sudanese Return Home
Caption Description Eighty-four South Sudanese internally displaced persons recently returned from the nation's capital to their home town of Yuai. Predominantly women and children, they had sought shelter and protection from violence and unrest in the Protection of Civilians (PoC) sites located in Juba.
Since a peace agreement was signed last September, more than 27,000 people have left protection sites located next to UN bases around the country. Another 3,000 people have also recently expressed a desire to go home. The returns process is a major logistical exercise involving the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) and humanitarian partners, including the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the lead agency.
