Farming on the Outskirts of Juba
Caption Description
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has been working with Daughters of Mary Immaculate (DMI), archdiocese of Juba's Integrated Community Development Programme, distributing seeds throughout the community to give the community the ability to sustain themselves and depend less on markets. DMI has also been offering training on farming at their compound in Gudele. Trainees then take the skills learned back into the community.
