Caption Description
The Security Council this evening decided that the measures establishing the oil-for-food programme for Iraq would remain in force for a new period of 180 days. The programme was to expire tonight. By unanimously adopting resolution 1447 (2002) and acting under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, the Council further decided to consider necessary adjustments to the Goods Review List (see document S/2002/515) and the procedures for its implementation or adoption, no later than 3 January 2003 and to continue regular, thereafter.
