One of the donkeys killed in an attack last week on the village of Sigili, North Darfur, is pictured near the village as it sits abandoned. More than one thousand residents have fled for the North Darfur capital, El Fasher, and nearby Zam Zam camp for internally displaced.
The villagers have reported ten people killed, one child injured, and one young man abducted during the attack. Livestock, including donkeys, camels and cows, were also killed, fifteen houses were burnt down and all properties were looted.
