The Government of Haiti's Department of Civil Protection (DPC) -- supported by the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), UN Development Programme (UNDP), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) -- conducted a Joint Natural Disaster National Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) in Port-au-Prince and Cabaret on 9 and 10 July in order to improve coordination and integration of response in the event of an actual crisis.
