Community Development in Tunisia

In a group of villages in the rural Enfida region, the Tunisian Government has initiated a pilot programme in community development. Experts provided by the United Nations mission in Tunisia are aiding national counterparts in carrying out this programme, which includes projects in agriculture, irrigation and water supply, fundamental education, and rebuilding of houses and other village structures.
