Caption Description The Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations met this afternoon for its first meeting and adopted the agenda.
The Chairman of the Committee made a statement concerning the organization of the work of the Committee.  Statements were made by the representatives of the USSR, Canada, Yugoslavia, the Netherlands, France, El Salvador, Poland, United States, Romania, Austria, United Kingdom, Mauritania, Czechoslovakia, Australia, Pakistan, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Afghanistan and India.  The representative for the USSR spoke in exercise of the right of reply.
