Construction Contract for UN Secretariat Building Signed

The contract, amounting to $23,809,573 to construct the 39-story Secretariat building, the first of the three main units, is awarded to the firms of Fuller, Turner, Walsh and Slattery Inc. This is the largest financial obligation that the U.N. has ever undertaken.
