The volunteers on their way to one of the work sites along the route.

Caption Description United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Child Protection Section, together with UNICEF and the South Sudan National Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Committee, released 32 child former soldiers in MirMir in South Sudan’s northern Unity region. The youth are trading in their weapons and uniforms for backpacks filled with essentials. Most of them will now be reunited with their families.
