Headline ""We Saw Tomorrow"", a New U.N. Radio Programme
Caption Description The U.N. Radio Division is presently preparing a series of six broadcasts. This new programme, which will be named ""We Saw Tomorrow"", is based on the reports and recordings made by a recent information mission sent by the United Nations to Latin America.
This picture, taken at U.N. Headquarters, on the occasion of the first recording of the programme, shows (l. to r.): Mr. Benjamin Cohen, ASG of the U.N. in charge of Public Information; Ambassador Carlos Echeverri-Cortes, Colombia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the U.N.; Mrs. Melvyn Douglas; Ambassador Rudecindo Ortega Masson, Chile's Permanent Representative to the U.N.; and Mr. Melvyn Douglas. Part of a mural painted on a wall of the U.N. Conference building is seen in the background. (Colombia and Chile are two of the countries visited by the mission).
