Headline
Wanted: New Listeners to United Nations Broadcasts
Caption Description
A U.N. Communications Campaign has been organized to gain 20 million more listeners to U.N. Radio programs in the U.S. by the end of June.
At the request of the local committee, the Mayor or Milwaukee ordered this sign to be placed on the City Hall. All five of the city's radio stations broadcast United Nations programs, and during the campaign the Chamber of Commerce arranged for window displays in Milwaukee’s stores. Many other organizations also assisted in publicizing United Nations schedules. [No exact date]
