In observance of World AIDS Day a panel discussion bringing together artists, entertainers, medical professionals, governmental and non-governmental organizations together to focus on advances made in combating the disease and specifically on the efforts of the arts and entertainment community to halt the spread of AIDS was held today at UN headquarters.
