Two women demonstrate how to double pound grain, or dura, using a large wooden mortar and two pestles.
The Second Agricultural Trade Fair took place at the Nyakuran Cultural Center in Juba, from the 27th-30th of November, 2012 and focused on Food and Human Security. The event brought together agriculture stakeholders such as individual farmers, different farmer groups, farmer unions, cooperatives, local and foreign investors, private agricultural companies and farmers and agribusiness people from the ten states of South Sudan, as well as Government agencies, NGO’s and international donors to devise means and ways to further realize the huge agricultural potential of South Sudan.
