Headline International Conference on Namibia and Human Rights Opens in Dakar 
Caption Description An International Conference on Namibia and Human Rights was opened today in Dakar by Leopold Sedar Senghor, President of Senegal. The Conference, being held at the invitation of the Government of Senegal and under the sponsorship of UN Commissioner for Namibia Sean MacBride, has been organized by the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg, in collaboration with the International Commission of Jurists and the International Association of Democratic Lawyers. A message to the Conference by Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim was read by Issoufou Saidou Djermakoye, Under-Secretary-General.
