How Does the Sound Get into the Record?
Caption Description
In the sound recording studio the children learn that every word spoken in a meeting of the General Assembly is recorded. This is done in order that the verbatim reporters may check that words of a delegate after the meeting to ensure that his ""takes"" are accurate and thus guarantee that the documents and reports issued concerning the meeting will be absolutely correct. They also find that they may come back in ten or twenty years and listen to the very words on the record they are now hearing since all the records are stored in the Archives and may be referred to at any time by any of the delegates, scholars, press or other interested persons.
