Caption Description Portrait of Patricio Ruedas who has been appointed by Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim as Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Services. Since 1977, Mr. Ruedas, a national of Spain, has been Director of Administrative and Financial Services of the UN Office at Geneva. From 1974 to 1977, he was Chief of the Political, Legal and Common Services Section in the Budget Division.
