Caption Description The Special Committee of 24 on decolonization today adopted a report on conditions in three United Kingdom-administered Territories in the South Pacific-the Gilbert and Ellice Island, Pitcairn and the Solomon Island.  Also adopted was a report containing conclusions and recommendations on conditions in Niue and the Tokelau Islands, two Pacific Territories administered by New Zealand.  The Committee also began a general debate on the situation in the Portuguese-administered Territories of Angola, Mozambique, Guinea (Bissau) and Cape Verde.  Statements were made by Sweden and the United Republic of Tanzania.
