Caption Description
A group of soldiers, sailors and airmen representing the United Nations forces in Korea were guests of honour of the UN General Assembly during their visit to the United Nations headquarters in Paris. During a special ceremony held in the Assembly Hall they were seated in a semi-circle on the speakers' rostrum, under the flags of their respective countries. They were welcomed by the Assembly President, Dr. Luis Padilla Nervo and Secretary-General Trygve Lie, and were addressed by Mr. Robert Schuman of France, Mr. Selwyn Lloyd of the U.K. and Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt of the United States.
