Tile Factory in Korea
Caption Description
There is a small tile factory, in the suburbs of Seoul, Korea. This pit, near the factory, is filled with the local clay used to make the tiles; an oxen, led by a workman, circles and circles around the pit to trample the clay.
To meet South Korea's vast housing needs, the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA) has set aside about $2,500,000. This will be used partly to help the Ministry of Social Affairs carry out its plan to build 5,500 Seoul area.
