Caption Description
For breeding purposes, 270 pigs and 100 goats have been flown from the United States to Korea by the UN Korean Relief Agency (UNKRA). The project was undertaken jointly by the Agency and the ""Heifer Project Committee"", an international voluntary society which specialises in the provision of livestock for the needy in many parts of the world.
At the (Korean) National Provincial Farm, at Kyongju, soon after the goats' arrival. From left to right: Mr. Rogers, a veterinarian adviser who traveled with the animals; Mr. Lee, Head of the Farm; and Mr. Chai, Chief of the Korean Provincial Government.
