New National Medical Center to Be Established in Korea
Caption Description
Plans for the re-building of Seoul City Hospital into a modern medical center run on Scandinavian lines are rapidly becoming a reality. The ""National Medical Center"" is being established jointly by Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the Government of Korea and the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA). Discussing the plans in front of the old Seoul City Hospital are Surgeon-General, Admiral C. E. Groth, Chairman of the Scandinavian Board for the National Medical Center in Korea, and Mr. Gustaf Birchlindgren, architect from Stockholm, who is in charge of the architectural and engineering parts of the project.
