Caption Description The General Assembly, meeting in special emergency session, early this morning adopted a UN resolution urging that all parties now involved in hostilities in the Middle East agree to an immediate cease-fire and as part thereof halt the movement of military forces and arms into the area. The resolution was approved by a vote of 64 in favour, 5 against, with 6 abstentions.
