A 500-foot merchant cargo ship, with 33 young Chinese cadets and a marine instructor supplied by the United Nations, arrived from Taipei on 16 October, and berthed in Pier 32 on the Hudson River in New York.
During a visit with the cadets to UN Headquarter are: (1st and 2nd from left) Mr. Hai-Chou Chung, Supervisor of Cadets, and Dr. En-Shang Luo, in charge of health and welfare of cadets.
