On July 28, at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, twelve nations signed the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, drafted by the World Conference on Refugees and Stateless Persons which met here from 2 to 25 July. Israel signed later. Nations signing were Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, United Kingdom and Yugoslavia.
